Champagne: How did you decide to get into photography?
Gabriel Boone: We grew up in a close knit family - our Grandpa Don, who was always close by, showed us how to use his 35mm all manual SLR from a young age. Shooting photos was just something we’ve done since we were kids.

Champagne: How would you describe your style?
Gabriel Boone: We love to have fun with our clients, pulling out those candid looks and feelings while guiding the rest. We orchestrate the technical side to make sure you’re in your best light, feel great and look amazing.

Champagne: Who/What would be your dream person/event to photograph?
Gabriel Boone: Right now I’m way into the J. Crew and Anthropology look books. I would love to produce and photograph one of their shoots.

Champagne: Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Gabriel Boone: A quote from Thoreau - “So we saunter toward the Holy Land, till one day the sun shall shine more brightly than ever he has done, shall perchance shine into our minds and hearts, and light up our whole lives with a great awakening light, as warm and serene and golden as on a bank-side in autumn.”

Boone - your images are full of gorgeous content and skill. I love what you said, “Pulling out those candid looks and feelings while guiding the rest.”

I am always blown away by these men and their poise as both inspiring artists and true people. Fantastic interview.
As per the contest: I’m proposing to my girlfriend shortly, so… why not have us stay in the hotel? I think it’s a good idea.
Cheers.

Gabriel & Boone have a great website that is super informative. As I’ve been looking for photographers, I’ve been frustrated that I’ve had to contact them or give them my information for a quote.
Not to be rude, but it would be nice to know the price-range before asking for the quote so that I don’t have to waste their time or mine. Why should they have to try to sell to me if the quote is over my budget? Why try to sell me a $5k package if my budget is for half of that?
I appreciate that these brothers have their packages on their website, making my research a lot easier and faster. : )
